Canteen Day

Ok ok. It's been ages since 'Hari Kantin' and don't blame me for not updating yet. Procastination's at fault, not me. Heehee..

My first Canteen Day in DB.We didn't sell things according to classes but go according uniformed units.Sold float that particular day.And we were so dumb to actually buy about 30 bottles of carbonated drinks and 8 boxes of ice-creams only.

We did not expect the response to be good.Even many Malays came to our stall which was 100% manned by the Chinese students.End up we had to go for endless trips to the groceries and supermarkets to get drinks and cups and ice and ice-creams.Damn tiring.But I enjoyed selling though,that's what I always do when there's canteen day or pesta ria,eventhough didnt go and walk around enjoying, I feel fun and feel that I've accomplished a something as a member,feeling a great sense of achievement.

Heck.On canteen day they had like a competition between stalls to come up with the nicest decoration and also stall with the most sales.I can understand the top-sales thing but hias gerai ? That's a bit off the track isn't it? LOL.Anyway, we didn't win any despite the fact that out stall is actually not bad lookin.Some miserable looking stall won the best-groomed stall.U know,those stalls that is being decorated to looks like funeral parlour and some stalls are actually decorated to look like the Malay bersanding wedding thing. =_= Too free.

Most of the stalls here are selling food.But there's photography booth by the ICT Club and also the theathre showing Shrek by the Kelab Siar Raya&Media.LOL.We had like speakers announcing which stalls is up to what and we even had a Dj,lousy one,that is.Even the songs they played are like those hits from nine thousand years ago.=_=

That is what's so different between college and form six.College more happening and sounds more glamorous mar.I wonder how is it if I chose to go college instead of form six.Can I adapt?And will I change?Haha.No use think so much.Anyway form six is not that bad if you are actually in a school like Hua Lian.Anyway, anyway, the subjects, teachers and exams sucks.!!!

Besides float,we actually sold fruits too.Sadly we had to sell it at RM0.50/packet cos no one wants to buy it at first.When they saw that the pricing has gone down,business started to be better.Lucky that we did not gain any losses though selling it at such low price.

Sales for the day was 500++.Minus the costs and so on left us with 200++ freakin malaysian ringgit. Not that much but fine,as long as we gain some money and not losses.

Not a very great event.In convent sure it'll be much better and more enjoyable for both the outsiders and the students.Anyway,I'll not complain.Accepted the fact I'm in DB,ok,and pretty fine with it.

Hmm..hmm..been nagged for spending and dedicating too much time to my dear computer.I think my parents are hinting that I spend more time on the computer than with them.LOL.How can I not indulge in onlining since I'm addicted to it already.Internet is my best friend,MAN! And I love blogdering.They kept saying I spend too much time stuck in my room.Why can't they understand that I feel most comfortable in my room,away in my own little world.Parents...
