Pardon the title, cause even though it's a "brand new year" I feel nothing different, nothing new. It's just like any other day, apart from the fact that I got to stay up all night and call today a holYday! :D
But I'm still curious, what suprises 2009 gonna bring? Anyway, I'm getting more n more hyped up about the CNY! Like zomg totally can't fucking wait! Not for new clothes, not for angpaus, not for foood, not for oranges..maybe I'll let u guess? ^^
Two more weeks and I'm exactly one month here d. I've found a job, pretty good boss and lady boss(boss lady?). I think if the lady boss is good, then life's good. Cause usually taukehsoh is the real big boss. Well if she's a nasty one then she's The Next BIG Bitch. Haha
Pay is so-so, but okay in because they provide lunch?
Anyway let's leave all that work stuff behind since it's a holYday alright!
I just wanna say I had witnessed the most mesmerizing(to me) fireworks last night! Despite the rush, despite the crowd(it doesn't bother me much cos it's quite comfy,no muddy wet grass),despite anything anti-climax u can think of, it's still the bestest live display of fireworks I've ever seen!
I'm really starting to like it here, especially when I'm out. After the fireworks watching, my couz,her gf and me went to this place called Clarke Quay and spend the rest of the morning there.It's a beautiful place at night,not sure bout day though cause never been there.
It's a place, full of pubs and clubs, where all the "it people" gather and get wild. Lotsa foreigners and also Singaporeans that comes in many sizes and colours. I like the atmosphere there cause it's so alive. Even for a noob like me,there's no time to feel out of place.
Eventhough I'm not one of them hotties strutting their stuff to the music, I still enjoyed it pretty much.Basically I just went and absorb things, enjoying the lively-ness. And I got a free hug from a pretty lady.Haha she had to like bend down to hug and give me a peck on mua face.Not that she's very tall,just that I'm a dwarf.
And we got to watch live, people fighting- 2 times some more. Foreigners n locals. Drunkards everywhere,sleeping on the bridge and all over. We were sitting on the bridge and there's this guy behind us dropped dead there for dunno how long d. People passing by put a cup near him and throw coins in there =.=
If not mistaken, those drop coins ppl are Malaysians. "Generous" people.
By 6.30 we got to go and catch the first bus,cause suddenly all like wanna pengsan d. Then till now I barely got any sleep. Just can't fucking sleep. I don't know why...Christmas countdown time also can't sleep..=.=
Anyway till here la,aku malas la. Dirty smelly and geli now..@@
