Hey Mom, it's Bubba Gump this time

Longggggg overdue entry, which finally made its way up here.

Went to Bubba Gump in Pyramid at the beginning of the semester and burn a hole in my  pocket & heart, cause I don't usually spend that much in one visit to any restaurant.

It weren't quite worth it but I guess the price in any other Americanish eatery is about the same?

I like the inside of the restaurant, with many funky signages and deco on the wall and all but seriously, the food was...meh

It was only edible to me, and I'd rate it below average. Well all I can say is, prolly because we ordered similar dishes which comes in thick rich creamy gravy which made us kinda sick.

The prawns were succulent (as I remember)  but I can get better ones back home; but of course, I know we don't compare like this.

So, all in all, the prawns were rather fresh but I just don't like the taste of the overly creamy sauce.

Oh by the way, service was awesome and they've got one bunch of pro-active and very energetic servers there which is of course a good thing.

This visit to Bubba Gump was actually my first time and I think there's no harm trying, for the sake of experiencing the ambience so you should give it a try lah, if you're interested.
