Go eat your own poop,

Tell me what do you feel when you come across articles as such :
> The Kulim municipal council, in a move to get the public and business people to respect prayer times for Muslims, have asked pasar malamtraders to pause their business by switching off their lights for 15 minutes when maghrib (dusk) prayers start.
The order was issued to night markets in Baling and Sik districts last year,China Press reported. Traders who do not comply with this kempen solat(prayer campaign) requirement risk losing their licence, the paper said.
A non-Muslim operator, who has operated his stall for 20 years, said it was an unfair directive as he had paid the rental and obtained valid licences.
Kulim assemblyman Lim Soo Nee said councils cannot force operators to follow the directive as it was not an official ruling.

I don't know about you but it surely made my blood boils.
First things first, I totally understand that in living as a multiracial multi-religion society, we all should respect each other, especially around issues pertaining our differences, which is what makes our society so diversified.
The thing is, when one is asking too much, it is NOT respect they're asking for anymore! How many of us would go and deliberately blast our speakers when the azan is here, when the Hindu temples ring their bells or when the Buddhist monks say their prayers?
My point is, we know when and what we should respect. We don't need those big ass incompetent municipal people to tell us what to do. Or force, in this case.
We Malaysians(most if not all) give respect when respect is due, and what the Kulim municipal council is asking for is just too much. I can't help but notice that it is the PEOPLE IN POWER that is making such unreasonable demands!
It is such an inconvenience even to the Muslim traders themselves. I can't believe they have such a time to think of such a creative way to find money for their council. I believe that the normal Muslim rakyats cannot feel the relevance of this law too.
I don't think it is even an issue to the everyday people, the normal average joe of a rakyat like us. It is always those people in power that is making a hill out of a mole. Those people behind the too commercialised idea of 1Malaysia, are the same people who's making our nation divides itself, don't you agree?

Here, another dumbass giving his opinion, when none is asked for :

> Public holidays should be reduced from 17 days, said Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry chairman Tan Sri William Cheng.
He was quoted by Nanyang Siang Pau as saying that the Government could consider cancelling the holidays for Wesak Day and Deepavali as not many people celebrate these festivals.

Not many people celebrate these festivals. O RLY? Have you conducted a research? Collected head counts?
Exactly how many is "not many"?
As far as I am concerned, the only festive holidays that the Indians in our country seems to have is the Deepavali and Thaipusam. And mind you, while the rest of the *cough* majority *cough* of us have 2days for Hari Raya and Chinese New Year, the Indians only have 1 day for their Deepavali celebration.
And now what, you're asking for Deepavali to be cancelled? It doesn't mean that if you and your family do not celebrate or indulge in these holidays others would not too, Mr.Chairman.
What is with these people huh? Please enlighten me, o god.
